The West Philippine Sea (WPS) is home to rich ecosystems that provide valuable resources to the country. With its remarkable biodiversity, it also serves as a research frontier in marine science.
On April 23–May 5, and May 7–19 of this year (2021), Filipino researchers from the UP MSI set out on expeditions as part of the research programs.
