Integrated Rural Development Program (IRDP) Welcome what is the program? The implementation of the Integrated Rural Development Program (IRDP) started in 2013 with financial assistance from the Bread for the World and local counterpart contributions from the Angping Development Foundation for Education (ADFE). The IRDP Program underwent an impact evaluation last May 2016 and was deemed to be successful. the epic-seed program Welcome what is the program? The EPIC-SEED program is aimed at helping build the rural economy for the benefit of the basic sectors – the peasants and IPs. It follows a holistic approach to ensure land tenure security by integrating value chain of the small economic enterprise development loop. The value chain starts from financing to production, to processing and marketing. Peasants and IPs must integrate their farming activities backward to their supply sources and forward to downstream markets. Inquirer Report – PH fishers on Chinese bullying: ‘Babawiin ko’ The Philippine Daily Inquirer released an article discussing the impact of the maritime dispute between the Philippines and China in the West Philippine Sea (WPS) on local Filipino fisherfolk.
