MAIN COMPONENTS
LAND TENURE IMPROVEMENT
The goal of land tenure improvement is composed of two major reform areas:
-
Agrarian Reform focused on agricultural lands under CARP;
-
Ancestral Domain Lands under the IPRA
ECONOMIC SUPPORT SERVICES
Simply giving farmers and indigenous peoples land is not enough. They must have economic programs in order for them to have greater control over their land and their means of production.
SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE BUILDING
The farmers and indigenous peoples also require a foundation by which they could not only survive, but thrive. These programs include:
-
Institutional Building for Leaders
-
Scholarships
-
Non-Formal Education
