The Aetas of Bataan trekked to the sacred mountain of Bantingen where they believe their god, Apona Mallari lives, to put up a sign that establishes their claim to the land and to denounce the Benguet Mining Corporation for grabbing their land and for conducting gold mining operations in the area without the legally required free, prior and informed consent from the Aeta community.
